Guestbook for December 2017
Kevin Cruthirds(non-registered)
Hi Folks,
It's been awhile since I've heard from you. Luckily I saved your blog's address and came across it today. I see that you have been busy with an addition. Is this going to be a rainfall collection site? I see the tank but that's a big room for just it.
Well, another semester comes to an end. We are in the middle of finals with graduation this Saturday. It's been a tougher than usual semester. As a split campus, Interactive Television courses (ITV) are being employed. These have not been the easiest technology to use as there seems to be problems too many times and the room setups are just not easy to use.
Our dean, Mark Kroll, is retiring as dean and will become a senior faculty member. He and his wife head to Singapore for the next year before returning and teaching again.
Our Associate Dean of Graduate Studies, Alberto Davila, has been hired as dean at Southeast Missouri State in Cape Girardeau, Missouri leaving us June 1. I am sorry to see him go. He has been a terrific asset for our College of Business.
My wife Patricia has finally rid the beast of constant pain from her foot surgery way back in December of 2016. It has been a very long healing process but she is finally getting around very well again until she over does it.
We adopted two dogs about a year ago, Maggy and Molly. Maggy is a Pyrenees. Our neighbor received her as a gift and really did not want her. So, we were suckers for those big sad eyes. We have had dogs one at a time since married, but we decided that Maggy needed a playmate. So, we adopted a dog from a local pet rescue shelter. We went through a process of pairing individual dogs, one at a time, to see how the two would get along. Molly and Maggy become great friends instantly. If you tell me how, I can upload pictures.
Both Patricia and I are still working and do not see the end just yet.
We wish you both the best. As always, we enjoy looking at your pictures. BTW, we were blown away by the picture of your new room with the mountain in the background. How beautiful.
Take care, Kevin and Patricia

Great photos! Glad I found you, Everette! Good to see you seem to be thriving in Mexico. Semper Fi, Ben.
